Peaches and Prayers
You guys asked me to let you know how the brownies that I posted about the other night turned out…
Well…they’re awesome. So so good. They are moist and chocolatey and a great way to get veggies into your kids without them realizing it. ;) 
They were also very easy to make…I highly recommend them! 
Low Fat Zucchini Brownies
1/2 c applesauce
2 small or medium bananas mashed
1 1/2 c sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups finely shredded zucchini
2 cups all purpose flour (I used whole wheat flour)
1/2 c walnut pieces
Directions:
Preheat over to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour an 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together the applesauce, mashed bananas and sugar.
Add vanilla and cocoa and mix together.
Then add baking soda, salt and zucchini and mix together.
Add flour and walnuts and mix together.
Spread evenly into a prepared pan.
Bake for 25 minutes until brownies spring back when gently touched (I need an additional 5 - 7 minutes for mine)
